Cape Town, March 10, 2025 – The 2025 Cape Town Cycle Tour, held on March 9, concluded with outstanding performances from both local and international cyclists. Tyler Lange, from South Africa, claimed the men’s U23 109km title, following in the footsteps of his father, Malcolm Lange, who had previously won the prestigious event. In the women’s U23 78km race, Germany’s Pia Grünewald emerged victorious, marking a strong international presence at the competition.
The Cape Town Cycle Tour, attracting around 28,000 participants, remains one of South Africa’s premier sporting events. Beyond the main race, the event included Lifecycle Week, which featured activities such as the Junior Tour, Tricycle Tour, Mountain Bike Challenge, and a lively Expo, transforming Greenpoint Stadium into a hub of entertainment and cycling culture.
This year’s race showcased the enduring appeal of the Cape Town Cycle Tour, celebrated not only for its challenging course but also for its festive atmosphere, drawing cyclists from around the world.
The event continues to solidify its place as a key fixture in the international cycling calendar.
