USAID’s funding withdrawal has left health officials and local communities deeply concerned about the future of these critical health services.
With the loss of financial support, many fear that efforts to curb HIV transmission and manage the disease may suffer significant setbacks.
In response, government leaders and health organizations are urgently seeking alternative funding sources to ensure the continuity of HIV programs.
The situation has highlighted the need for immediate action to prevent the reversal of progress made in the fight against HIV in Lesotho.
