Former Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs boss Stuart Baxter has been sacked by Odisha FC.

His distasteful comment in the post-match conference can be considered as one of the reasons for his termination.

The 67-year-old, who joined the Indian Super League side in August 2020 got sacked after making shocking “rape” comments during his latest post-match interview following his men’s 1-0 defeat to Jamshedpur on Monday.

Odisha FC have since released a statement distancing themselves from the comments made by the British football manager and have stressed that the utterances made by him do not reflect the values of the club.
