AS Monaco have terminated Paul Pogba’s contract after the midfielder suffered another injury setback in France.
The 33-year-old French midfielder leaves Monaco in August 2026 after just one season with the Ligue 1 club.
Pogba joined Monaco in June 2025 on a two-year contract after returning from his doping suspension.
He made only six competitive appearances for Monaco, featuring for just 115 minutes.
The former Manchester United and Juventus star struggled with injuries throughout his spell at the club.
Pogba reportedly suffered another left-thigh injury during Monaco’s pre-season training camp.
The setback contributed to Monaco’s decision to end his contract before its scheduled expiry.
Pogba is now a free agent and will have to find another club after his Monaco departure.
His immediate future remains uncertain as he continues his recovery from the latest injury.
