The Podcast and Chill Network has announced that a new episode of Be Frank With Mac will premiere tonight at 8pm SAST, promising a discussion on what it describes as one of South Africa’s biggest challenges.
In a post shared ahead of the premiere, the network said host Macfarlane Moleli will explore whether South Africans are accepting standards that “should never be normal.” The episode is expected to examine issues including leadership, constitutional precedents and the state of the country’s democratic institutions.
According to the post, Moleli argues that treating institutional failure as normal is “the greatest threat to our democracy.” The network said the episode will take a hard look at what it calls leadership blindness and the consequences of declining accountability.
