Cassper Nyovest has announced that he will host the 32nd South African Music Awards (SAMAs), with this year’s ceremony set to take place in his home province of North West in August. The rapper shared the news with fans through his official social media platforms, confirming he will take centre stage as the host of South Africa’s biggest music awards event.
The announcement marks another major career milestone for the award-winning artist, who hails from Mahikeng in the North West. Cassper Nyovest said he is looking forward to hosting the prestigious ceremony in the province where his music journey began.
The 32nd SAMAs are expected to bring together the country’s biggest artists, producers and music industry figures to celebrate excellence in South African music. The event will feature live performances and the presentation of awards across multiple genres.
Cassper Nyovest is no stranger to the SAMAs. Throughout his career, he has earned numerous nominations and won several awards, establishing himself as one of South Africa’s most successful hip-hop artists. This year, however, he will be leading the show as host rather than taking the stage as a nominee.
