Pretoria, March 10, 2025 – Eric Tinkler, a seasoned coach in South Africa’s Premier Soccer League (PSL), has been appointed as the new head coach of Sekhukhune United.
Tinkler’s appointment follows a series of coaching changes, including his recent departure from Cape Town City FC in December 2024. This move marks a fresh chapter for Tinkler, who will be looking to revitalize the club’s fortunes after their recent struggles in the Premier Soccer League (PSL)
Sekhukhune United’s decision to bring Tinkler on board comes after the departure of former coach Lehlohonolo Seema, who left following a successful tenure. The club cited concerns over Seema’s off-field conduct as a factor in his exit.
