The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) has successfully secured an interdict to stop the payment from the sale of a luxurious R10 million mansion in Waterkloof, Pretoria, which is linked to former National Lotteries Commission (NLC) board member William Huma. This legal action is part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of corruption and financial misconduct related to the sale of the property.
Huma, who has been under scrutiny for his involvement in the NLC, allegedly used his position to benefit from the property deal, leading to the SIU’s intervention.
