Popular South African DJ and television personality Lamiez Holworthy has been rushed to hospital for emergency surgery.
Holworthy underwent urgent surgery after a medical emergency on Monday, August 10, 2026. Her management confirmed the medical emergency, saying her condition is not life-threatening.
The exact nature of Holworthy’s medical emergency and surgery remains undisclosed.
Her management said she required urgent medical treatment, forcing her to postpone scheduled appearances. They apologised to promoters, organisers, clients and partners affected by the cancellations.
Revised booking dates will be announced after Holworthy receives medical clearance.
Management has asked fans to keep Holworthy in their prayers during her recovery.
It also appealed for privacy while the entertainer takes time to recover.
