How to Ruin Christmas star, Busisiwe Lurayi has died.

Busi was pronounced dead on Sunday. The news was confirmed via her agency, Eye Media Artists, on Monday. The agency shared a family statement to Instagram.
Busi is best known for her starring role as Phumzile on the SABC series City Ses’la for 2005 – 2006 and then again in 2010. She also starrred in it’s spin-off show Ses’Top La.
In 2006, she won Best Supporting Actress from the inaugural SA Film and Television Awards for her role as Phumzile.
In 2020, she nabbed the role of much-loved character Tumi Sello on the hit Netflix series How to Ruin Christmas. Season 2 was released in December 2021 while it was announced in June this year that Season 3 is currently in production.
Currently the cause of death is unknown and her family is awaiting autopsy report.
